The Theme of my portfolio will be: “What I would do with a time machine.”
1) Go to a Muhammed Ali fight with my friends.
This is just some simple cutting out, changing my layer to black and white and playing around with the hue and contrast to try and match. Happy with it meter (out of 10): 7
2) Sell this new and improved picture to National Geographic
I used the over processed tutorial and it turned out just like it should. However, I’m not really sure that my version is any improvement. Happy withh it meter: 9
3) Use a shrink ray on those tanks in Tianamen Square
This was a lot harder than I thought if would be. I first tried cutting out the tanks and then copying the layer so that I could add in a smaller version later. That meant that I had to use the clone stamp tool all over my picture. It just never really looked right. On my second attempt, I cut out the tanks and saved them as a separate file. Then I cropped the original picture down so that the man became the focus. I cut out a section of the road from the original picture and placed it over the tanks. Then I used the clone stamp tool to remove the remaining parts of the tanks. I also used the clone stamp to blend the edges. I put smaller version of the tanks back in and used the blur filter so they would match the photo.
Happy with it meter: 8 (cause I don’t think I could do that much better with this idea)
4) I want to see if Marylin Monroe would have had the same success as a red head.
Tutorials work well. Although I should go back and touch up her hair line.

5) I would convince the city planners of Toronto that instead of an ugly CN Tower, what we need is a giant Terry Fox monument. Like the Statue of Liberty (only way bigger) the monument will be a symbol of courage and perseverance even in the darkest times. I also think we should do this because as far as toughness goes, there’s nobody that comes close, not even Chuck Norris.
The only tricky thing about this pic was taking the time to carefully cut out my Terry Fox. blue left over from the original picture stuck out like a sore thumb on my Toronto Background. Once I did that, I put the statue behind a few harbour buildings and adjusted the brightness and contrast until it matched. I also added a ‘blur filter’ to make it look more like the picture.

7) New and Improved Album Cover
I quick masked all the boys out and this filter is the ‘Artistic – Film Grain – Cut out’ filter.
8) I want to see Tom Brady get sacked more often so I’m going to help the defense find him.
This was mostly done using the Image – mode.
9) I’ve always thought that Steve Buscemi was a good actor but he isn’t exactly pretty. Hopefully a little touch up will help him land more roles.

10) This is one of my favourite albums but the ‘iconic’ cover put some people off. This new version is a little more public friendly.
Anyone who knows this album knows what I did to this picture. This entry took about 30 seconds.
